The Hole In The Wall Golf Club is an 18-hole private golf facility in Naples, Florida ==Course== The course was originally designed in 1957 by Dick Wilson, the well-known golf course architect. It opened in January 1958. It had a length of about and 103 bunkers. In 2009 the course was renovated by Ron Forse. As part of the 2009 renovation the club made a proposal to build a lake in exchange for a $3 million contribution from the city of Naples. The city could then use the lake for water quality credits to offset drainage projects elsewhere in the city. However, the negotiations eventually fell through. Forse increased the number of bunkers to 109, and made a new par 71 championship course with . The longest tees of the Hole In The Wall course are .
